This isn't really an absence, more of a notification. I'm probably going to be a little weird...er...the next couple of weeks. I have a sleeping problem (namely, I wake up at 1-2am feeling like I'm having a menopausal hot flash - or at least how they're described - but problem is, I'm nowhere near menopause), so I'm trying out a couple of different sleep schedules, trying to work around that because it makes it impossible to get a decent night's sleep.
My first attempt - go to bed later, get up later - just plain doesn't work with my RL work schedule. Plus, it hasn't proven effective against the sleep disturbance.
So now I'm going for the second method, which is going to bed earlier, and get up earlier. And by earlier and earlier, I mean, 6pm and 2:30am.
I was going to start tonight, but...AT&T and a traffic accident (not directly involving me) conspired against me getting home on time, and then I broke one of the cats' food dishes (hopefully, the superglue is dry enough now that I've put the whole thing back together). However, I do still intend to go to bed earlier tonight than I've been the last couple of weeks.
