Trio Formations: Point Tall, Straight

The "Point Tall, Straight" formation affects the point and rear dragons; the point dragon rises two levels, the center stays on level, and the rear dragon drops two levels.

From the sides, all three dragons are fully visible with the rear dragon at the lowest point and the point dragon at the highest. There are a full four levels vertically between the point and rear dragons. From the top, the dragons form an even line along their spines.

Trio Formations: Tall

"Tall" is the last standard trio formation and is to "Wide" and "Straight" what a wall is to a floor: vertically perpendicular. There is a top dragon, a center dragon, and a bottom dragon and they form a straight, vertical line, perpendicular to the ground beneath them.

From the sides, all three dragons are fully visible with the top dragon at the highest point and the bottom dragon at the lowest. There is a single level vertically between each dragon. From the top, only the top dragon is fully visible.

Trio Formations: Deep

"Deep" is sometimes considered the "Tall" version of "Loose;" though the dragons are still vertically perpendicular, there are a full two levels between each dragon. There is a top dragon, a center dragon, and a bottom dragon and they form a straight, vertical line, perpendicular to the ground beneath them.

From the sides, all three dragons are fully visible with the top dragon at the highest point and the bottom dragon at the lowest. There are a full two levels vertically between each dragon. From the top, only the top dragon is fully visible.

Other positions in the Tall and Deep formations involve triangular formations where the top and bottom dragons are forward or backward of the center dragon. Because Tall and Deep formations are rarely used, these will be taught as deemed necessary.

(i.e., the dragons who rate the special training will get to learn these ones)
